Picnic Benefits

All benefits listed below are available for full-time AND part-time (20+ hours/week) employees.  Not only are our employees eligible for these great benefits, the benefits start your first day of employment.

Health Benefits

The premiums for our Medical plans (two choices – HDHP or PPO), Dental plan and Vision plan, are covered by Picnic Works depending on your coverage level.  All employee premiums are paid 100% by the company.  All dependent premiums are paid 50% by the company and 50% by the employee.

Life and AD&D Insurance

The company pays 100% of the premium for basic Life and AD&D insurance.  You have the option to elect additional voluntary coverage (paid by the employee) for yourself, spouse, and/or children.  The premiums for the voluntary life insurance will vary based on age.

Long Term Disability (LTD)

The company pays 100% of the premium for Long-Term Disability insurance.  The coverage amount will vary depending on your annual income.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

If you choose to enroll in the HDHP plan, the company will help contribute to your HSA account.  For employee only coverage, the company contributes $150 per pay, and $250 per pay for employee plus dependent(s) coverage.  You can choose to contribute more if you would like, as long as it doesn’t exceed the set IRS contribution limits for the year.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

If you choose to enroll in the PPO plan, you have the option to voluntarily enroll in a Medical FSA.

Regardless of the medical plan you choose, you can enroll in the Dependent Care FSA for approved dependent care expenses (i.e. daycare, summer camps, etc).

These contributions will be paid 100% by the employee and cannot exceed the year’s IRS contribution limits.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

You are automatically enrolled in to the EAP program with Picnic Works.  This allows you access to counseling for you and your immediate family members.  Type of assistance and costs will vary.

Health and Wellness Reimbursement

Wellness-related expenses that help you get and stay fit physically, emotionally, and financially is available to all employees.  You will be able to turn in receipts for eligible expenses up to $1200 per year.


Contribute to your 401k account and the company will contribute 4% of your salary into a Safe Harbor program.

Self-Managed PTO

We believe our employees should take the time they need, when they need it, to recharge.  This is done while working with each other to ensure company needs are still maintained and met.
